My baby does everything except for on his tummy he doesn't turn his head from right to left he tries to he still haven't heard lift it up and drop it right back down he hasn't mastered the control of his head yet

All babies are not going to be doing the same thing at the same time if your baby is not doing this at 2 months he may do it at 3 months and it's okay

I like watching milestone videos every few months and make sure I’m doing enough for my kid like activities with him etc since I’m a first time mom….. but then everytime I watch these I’m like mannnnn how you get your kid to actually pay attention long enough to do all those things 😂 then I see your video and your daughters walking around while you do it. And playing with something else and I’m like “okay good I thought my sons the only one” 😂 Cause there’s some youtubers on here that must clip a bunch of videos together acting like their kid is a 8am-2pm 1st grade student 👩‍🎓 🤦‍♀️

Also for jumping. Is there anything to do to help his feet leave the floor? He's loved 'jumping' since he first stood up, but still bounces up and down with feet on the floor.

Regarding running. What does fairly well look like? My boy does his best and moves fairly fast, but while his feet move fast his legs don't so he's doing a very fast toddle. He does have diddy little legs compared to the rest of him so not sure if that's a factor.

🤔 baby not walking unsupported yet, so "behind" on gross motor, but basically everything else is "been doing this for months", so he is just a nerd 😝 (smart, but not focused on athletics) (Atleast here he isn't considered behind as long as he starts walking by 18 months, and he is well on his way, it gonna be fine 🤷🏻‍♀️)

Does stacking rings count for stacking toys? We never used the cups but have ordered them. And we just got blocks but she downs there about them too much.

Thanks. This was reassuring. My 21 month old is advanced with verbal, and all the academic stuff (can read many words, count to 3 / 4, knows numbers up to 20s and up to 60s less reliably, knows colours, shapes, etc), but was worried about his motor skills as he loves jumping but his feet never leave the ground. Guessing just to continue the bouncing and hope his feet leave the ground soon? Thanks for the pipe cleaner advice. He likes threading beads but is not getting the concept of holding the top part of the string before letting go, so it falls off again. Maybe pipe cleaners will be less frustrating to start with.

My 13month old boy he can go to the pretent toy toaster when I tell him to go get bread or his book rack when i say let us read books.He has not started pointing yet but he usually pull my fingers or any household member finger to point at number or certain thing he want to know. He can throw basketball into hoop. He like play hid and seek. Mostly he like to throw things on the floor to hear different sound. I don't really know is that 13month milestone.

How long of a pause should be between each word? Also, my kid says “more more” instead of just “more”, so does it count if he adds a third word onto that such as “more more milk”?

My kid CAN drink out of and put down a cup when he wants to, but he’s a stinker butt and prefers to spill. I know this bc every time he does it, he looks at me and tries to maintain eye contact while doing it. 😂🤣 Our problem areas are gross motor and problem solving. He’s also got most of the communication down but has not really started putting simple sentences together yet. I’ve maybe heard him do it once or twice, but I wouldn’t count that as “sometimes”.

My 22 month old has started saying things like "open door," "bye bye dadda" (or whoever/whatever is going bye bye) and "hello dadda" (again, whoever/whatever), but not really any other 2-word sentences, and she definitely isn't answering questions like how old she's going to be. She'll answer no to most everything and has at least 80 words in her vocabulary. I'm not sure if she should be able to answer questions yet, or which questions she should be able to answer, or if she should be doing other 2-word sentences. Her brother, who's 5, has ASD and wasn't talking at all at her age, so she's definitely ahead of him, but I worry she's still not where she should be.

My baby is 7 months. She's doing all the things you described, EXCEPT sitting unsupported. She has a big head so I suppose it's a bit heavy for her to hold up. But she's learning to crawl and now she can turn her body when the dog is to the right or the left.

What do you do in the grocery store if your not near the restroom should I bring the small potty inside or what? I offered it before we went inside but once inside she had to go. I’m also having issues with getting to her fast enough to help when she says pee pee for example when getting out of the car seat I was parking so she just went on herself.

Im the father of a 12yr old son whom I love very very much, and with him having non-verbal Autism, I desperately, hopefully and praying to see normal signs of development with my second 5 week old son. Also..i love how you give us examples by showing us your own child!
